Technological Support

Whether you have a simple technical question or you wish to receive personalized consultations in either informatics or multimedia, the staff at the Resource Centre is available to you.

The Educational Resource Advisors in mutlimedia and informatics have the expertise necessary to answer any technological questions you may have. They also offer one-on-one consultations and workshops geared towards the use of the various technology oriented educational resources (such as software, computer use, multimedia equipment, etc.). Their offices are located in LMX 254 and 255, near the Centre's computing labs.

Technological support attendants are available to answer any questions concerning software, computing or multimedia equipment use in the Centre. The attendants offer support during peak periods, evenings & weekends, and any time the Educational Resource Advisors are unavailable. They can be found at their support station, which is located near LMX 255.

Graduate laboratory

Technical support for the Graduate student lab (LMX 260) is offered by the staff of the Resource Centre. Should you require assistance, please use the telephone in the lab and call the Centre's circulation desk at extension 5861. An attendant will be happy to meet you in the lab and answer any question you may have. This service is only offered during the Centre's regular business hours.

 

Computing Services at the University

For any questions regarding your InfoWeb account, your @uOttawa.ca e-mail account, the uOttawa Wireless network or any other computing resource not directly related to the Faculty of Education Resource Centre, please consult the Computing and Communications Services website.
