Other Services
The Centre offers various other services that are provided for the benefit of all patrons. Please note that some of these services are provided by other University sectors and support from the Centre’s staff will be limited.
Photocopiers
Two photocopiers provided by the Reprography Service are located near the circulation desk. You will be required to use a copy card to pay for your photocopies.
Printing on a RELMON printer
A RELMON printer is installed in the LMX 249 (black laser printing on letter size paper). You will be required to use a copy card to pay for your printout.
To print from a Macintosh or IBM computer, send your print command and choose RELMON as the printer (default on the Resource Centre's computers). The print job will be sent to all RELMON printers on campus. At the print station, type your username and follow instructions on screen. For color printout, from the computer send your print command and choose couleur / color. The color printer is located in MNT 140.
Refund: Refund request forms are available in Morisset Hall, room 023. If you are requesting a refund because the printed page is physically bad (e.g. toner is smeared, the paper is twisted), please provide the bad page along with the refund request. This will allow the us to better understand and fix the problem.
For more information about the RELMON printers, please check the Guide to the RELMON Self-Service Printers
Copy Card
For your convenience, a copy card distributor has been installed near the two photocopying machines, in front of the circulation desk. Instructions on how to purchase a copy card or add funds to a copy card are posted on the distributor. You may also ask one of the circulation desk clerks to assist you. Please note that any problem regarding the photocopying machines or copy cards must be addressed directly to the University’s Reprography Service, MRT 023.

You will also require your InfoWeb password in order to authenticate to the wireless system. The Centre can also offer basic assistance to those requiring help installing the VPN client on their laptop computers. Please present yourself to any of the technological support attendants or Educational Resource Advisors (Informatics and Multimedia) for help. More information on the Wireless and VPN service can be obtained at CCS’ Wireless Access page.
Services for People with Reduced Mobility
The Centre collaborates with the University’s Access Service to assure a high quality of service for people with reduced mobility. Computers are available in the LMX 248 and LMX 250 labs providing wheelchair access. It is also possible to request the installation of special software for those with auditory or visual difficulties. The Centre is available through corridors linking Vanier and Montpetit to Lamoureux, or by elevators which can be accessed directly in front of the Centre. The current evacuation plan takes into consideration people with reduced mobility. Please present yourself to a Centre staff member in case of emergency. Because the Centre’s staff wants you to have an agreeable and secure experience during your visit, we welcome your requests and suggestions for any improvements.
