Documentary Research Assistance
The Faculty of Education Resource Centre’s collection contains primarily learning resource materials and documents geared towards students who are currently enrolled in the B.Ed., Q.A., Q.B.A. programs. For resources pertaining to research in education, graduate students and professors are encouraged to consult the collection located at the Morisset Library.
Whether you are performing simple research from one of the documents in the Resource Centre’s collection, to a more in depth analysis on the various resources in education, the staff at the Centre is available should you acquire assistance in performing your research effectively.
The Librarian and Educational resource advisor (documentation) have the expertise to answer any questions you may have concerning learning resource materials in education. They are also available for one-on-one consultation sessions or group-based workshops on the proper use of the various educational resources available in the Centre. Their offices are located in the Centre, in rooms LMX-256 and 258 respectively.
The staff at the circulation desk, besides assisting you with various activities such as loans, returns and reservations, can also assist in your orientation with the Centre, the research you will conduct and finally referring you to the proper personnel for more specific information and assistance.
Graduate student support
Although the majority of the resources in education for graduate students is available that the Morisset Library, the Librarian and Educational resource advisor (documentation) are available to assist you and answer any questions concerning your research. You may also consult directly with the Subject Librarian - Education at the Morisset Library.
