Policy 94: Policy on the Pro-Active Recruitment of Women Professors

The University has established a discretionary fund (the amount to be determined by the administrative committee) for the following needs:

  1. to help promote the hiring of women professors; and
  2. to provide help to women professors in the development of their career.

Funds are awarded to individual professors by the administrative committee upon the recommendation of an awards committee chaired by the Vice-Rector (academic) or by the Vice-Rector's representative) and composed of the following members: coordinator of the employment and education equity program, the Dean and a full-time professor appointed by the administrative committee.
