The set up and structure of the Web site of the Faculty of education reflects well the many changes that occurred in the last decade in researchers' activities. With the new technologies of information and communication, researchers may access, directly from their working station, most recent information in their area of expertise. With sophisticated web browsers, they may be informed regularly of the most recent publications in their research programs. And through e-mail, they may develop collaborations and interact with their peers all over the world.
The Faculty of Education Web site intends to reflect those changes. You will find here information on research funds, areas of expertise for each professor of the Faculty and what human and physical resources are available at the Resource Centre for Research in Education (RCRE). The RCRE is also a location that we share with others on the Web. Parallel to the physical facilities of the RCRE and complementary to it, you will find in the Web-based RCRE links that will allow you to access important sites in education, wether they are documentation browsers, professional association sites, government and funding agencies in education.
I hope you will discover at the RCRE as well as in its Web counterpart, the tools you need to attain your research objectives.
