Evaluation of Applications
Fund allocation is made on a competitive basis and is peer reviewed. The Faculty of Education Research Committee makes final decisions. The Committee render four types of decisions depending on the funding requests received:
- Approved: the request is granted for the amount requested or a revised amount.
- Approved conditionally: the request is granted in principle, but final approval is conditional on receiving additional information or checking information.
- Suspended: the request cannot be granted in its current form but the applicant is invited to re-submit the request, taking into account the comments of the Committee.
- Refused: the request is not granted.
The Committee's decisions may not be appealed and the amounts granted cannot be revised
