Dissemination Assistance Fund for Graduate Students Registered in Graduate Studies Programs in Education (MA, PhD)

Funding is available (maximum of $500 per program of study) to provide support for full-time graduate students to disseminate work related to their program of studies at conferences. This category of the Faculty dissemination program covers costs related to travel, registration at the conference and costs incurred for the preparation of the conference, such as photocopies. Requests should comply with the following conditions:
- they must be directly related to the student's thesis work or other research activities, provided that the student is the first author
- and that the content of the paper has not been previously presented;
- they must be submitted to organizations where proposals clearly undergo peer review before being accepted; and
- the student must have maintained an average of A- or higher.
Only one award may be granted for the duration of a program of study, which is allocated competitively and according to availability of funds.
Requests for travel expense grants must be submitted to the Faculty of Education Research Committee before the presentation. Researchers wishing cash advances for presentations outside Ontario and Quebec must submit their request at least one month before the activity.
All graduate students that submit a request for funding for dissemination must adhere to the regulations of graduate studies.
