PED 3123 NT Political and Professional Organization in Native Education

  • PED 3123 NT, 10 inscriptions, Wednesdays from 17:30 to 20:30, Fall 2008

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in education or in a field related to the course;
  • *Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level;
  • Teaching or school administration experience within the past 5 years or experience teaching this course or a course in the same area of specialization since the implementation of the Ontario Curriculum related to the teaching field;
  • *Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum, the Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of issues related to First Nations, Inuit and Métis Education
  • Experience working with First Nations, Inuit and Métis students.

*The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those set out above.
