Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in education or in a field related to the course;
- *Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level;
- Teaching or school administration experience within the past 5 years or experience teaching this course or a course in the same area of specialization since the implementation of the Ontario Curriculum related to the teaching field;
- *Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum, the Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession.
- Demonstrated knowledge of issues related to First Nations, Inuit and Métis Education
- Experience working with First Nations, Inuit and Métis students.
*The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those set out above.
