J. BRADLEY COUSINS is Professor of Educational Administration at the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa. Professor Cousins' main academic interests are in program evaluation including participatory and collaborative approaches, utilization issues and capacity building. He is author of several articles, international handbook chapters and books on evaluation related topics. Professor Cousins received his Ph.D. in educational measurement and evaluation from the University of Toronto in 1988. He received the Canadian Association for the Study of Educational Administration 1989' Doctoral Dissertation Award', and in 1999 the "Contributions to Evaluation in Canada" award from the Canadian Evaluation Society. Recently he was recognized by his peers for the 2004 ‘Excellence in Research Award’ of the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa. He has been Editor of the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation since January 2002 and is served as Program Co-Chair for the CES/AEA joint conference held in Toronto in October 2005.
