Qualifications
ABQ- Additional Basic Qualifications
These one-session, six credit programs are designed for teachers who
wish to extend their range of qualifications to another division (e.g.,
teachers who hold qualifications at the Junior and Primary divisions may
wish to extend their qualifications to the Intermediate division). At
the Intermediate and Senior ABQ level teachers may want to add a teachable

AQ - Additional Qualifications
Teachers are eligible to enrol in these courses which provide further qualification in various subject areas. Several are one-session (6 credit) courses, but most are three, 6 credit sessions - Part 1, Part 2 and Specialist. AQ-Principal's Qualification Program

This program is intended for teachers, holding the equivalent of an honours degree, who wish greater specialization in one subject area. On completion of this one-session, 6 credit program the successful applicant should have a detailed knowledge of curriculum development and implementation, and knowledge of process skills related to the role of department head.
