Description
Wally Moffat is a former teacher, principal and superintendent in eastern Ontario. As a superintendent of staffing, Wally was responsible for the recruitment of new teachers and the selection of leadership personnel. He has participated in more than 1,000 interviews over the years and read several thousand resumes. During his visit, he will present “How to prepare a Successful Resume and Interview”. Resume topics include preparing an excellent resume and cover letter and getting your best references. Interview topics include preparing for your interview, presenting your best image, interview do's and don'ts, lots of sample questions, and the seven top interview rules. Again, Wally's book Getting the Job You Want will be for sale for only $15, nearly 10,000 copies have been sold. He will be available to chat with candidates between sessions and after the second presentation. Only 200 spots per session are available to all Teacher Education candidates.
Wally will hold two sessions:
Session A from 9 a.m. -11:30 a.m. and
Session B from 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
