Part I, Module 6: What it means to be a principal in the province of Ontario

At the conclusion of this module participants will:

1. Understand the multidimensional aspects of the Ontario Educational System and appreciate the differences between the Catholic, Public, Francophone and Anglophone systems;
2. understand the Standards of Practice, the Ethical Standards and the Professional Learning Framework for the Teaching Profession and their application to the role of the principal. They will comprehend the role and responsibilities of the school principal regarding the Ontario Education System and its governance, structures.
